What makes a good pitch

Offer one focused idea, explain why it matters to readers and say what the piece would help them understand or decide. A strong pitch has a clear angle, a useful scope and a reason it belongs with Fresh Living Guide. We welcome fresh explanations, thoughtful comparisons, grounded histories and practical planning.

Keep it specific

Show the question at the centre of the piece and the main points you would cover. Avoid broad promises, product-led copy and claims that depend on credentials or testing you do not have. If an idea involves safety-critical work or specialist decisions, it is not a fit for general household guidance.
